Privacy &

Garagisti Club is a community for automotive culture. This page explains what information the platform uses, why, and the choices you have.
Last updated: 19 October 2026.
This initial policy describes the current platform. The operator's verified legal name, registered address and dedicated privacy contact must be confirmed before treating it as the final legal notice.
Who is responsible?
Garagisti Club is operated from Portugal. Garagisti Club is responsible for the personal information it processes to run the service. The operator's full legal identity and postal address are being confirmed for this notice. For privacy enquiries, a dedicated contact channel must be activated and published.
What information do we use?
- Account details: name, username, email address, authentication provider, profile image, location or interests if provided, and account security information, including multi-factor authentication status.
- Community activity: posts and shared links, saved collections, vehicles in Garage, places, roads, event participation, chat messages, reactions, reports and moderation history.
- Business and payment information: verified business details, advertisements, event registrations, ticket and payment status, and associated transaction references. Payment-card details are handled by the payment provider rather than entered directly into Garagisti.
- Technical information: session credentials, device/browser information, logs needed for security, and your cookie preferences. Third-party content you choose to load may collect data under its own terms.
Why do we use it?
We use account and community information to provide the platform and its features, fulfil requested registrations or purchases, maintain account security, prevent abuse, moderate content, answer requests, and meet applicable legal duties. Depending on the activity, our legal basis is performance of a contract, legitimate interests such as platform security, compliance with law, or your consent where it is required, such as optional third-party embeds.
How long do we keep information?
Account and community information is retained while needed to operate the account and the published platform, subject to deletion requests, moderation requirements and legal obligations. Transaction and accounting records may need to be kept for statutory periods. Security logs and technical records are retained only as long as needed for their purpose. A detailed retention schedule will be published as part of the final policy.
Your data protection rights
Depending on the circumstances, GDPR gives you rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to processing of your information, request portability, and withdraw consent at any time. You may also complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, the CNPD. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
Manage your public profile and account settings inside Garagisti. A dedicated privacy-request contact will be added after the operator details are confirmed.
